An Other Story

Our sermon this week is based on an ancient Genesis story–the story of Sarah’s Egyptian slave, Hagar, & her son, Ishmael.

We kept our small Drive-by production simpler this week.  “God hears the cries of those who have nothing else left to do but weep.”  We pay attention to the cries of the abandoned–so this ancient story is a modern story too. Let’s create that which is life-giving for those who are sidelined, exiled to the fringe of the human family. It’s An Other Story, this one.
